More interesting retention programs are being created and uncovered every day — why?  The war for talent is alive and well and culture is a competitive advantage.

So Inc asks — What do you think of Google’s impressive death benefits–generosity personified, the ultimate retention strategy, or a little bit of both?

I find it interesting that there is no mention of how this offer aligns with their culture, vision or their consumer as well as their employment brand!  And this is not only a retention strategy…but a recruitment strategy.
