Well Seth Godin has done it again — short and sweet!

It’s easier to love a brand when the brand loves you back

Worth thinking about that the next time you’re annoyed at a customer (or employee).

Or when you’re dreaming up a policy designed to punish a few outlier customers (or employee) while it actually annoys all of them.

Do the things that illustrate your employment brand show your workforce that you love them?

Is what you “say” your culture is true?

Do you authentically show your employees that they are “your best asset” like your mission says they are?

Think about your activities, the amenities, the programs, the policies and how you talk to your employees…these things are the actions that really create the experience of working at your company.

Do they help build or destroy “messaging” you work so hard publish?!
